Who it’s for: Anyone who has bought the dated journal before and found it in the drawer by March.

You have bought the dated journal before. I have too. Mine was in the drawer by March.

This one has no dates in it. None. Nothing in here can tell you that you are behind.

Skip a week and you have missed nothing at all, because there is no year and no weekday printed anywhere in this file. Open it on a Tuesday in August or on the first of January and it meets you the same way.

What’s inside

Everything you get

  • 366 day pages, including a February 29 for leap years
  • Nine quiet prompts on every page: today’s reading, a verse to remember, what’s happening in the passage, what God is saying, your response, praying for, grateful for, one small step, and a blank theme line
  • 12 month planners, with every single date tappable
  • 10 prayer request spreads — the request on one page, how God answered on the next
  • 12 message notes pages for what you hear on a Sunday
  • A full year of daily readings in the back, references only, so you can use any translation
  • A tab rail down the side of every page
  • No Bible text printed — you write the verse out yourself, in the translation you actually read

Format: Hyperlinked PDF for iPad and Android — GoodNotes, Notability, Noteshelf and Samsung Notes — plus a print-at-home version. A setup guide is included.

Questions

Before you buy

Why isn’t the Bible text printed?

Two reasons. You read a translation you trust, and I’d rather not choose it for you. And copying the verse out by hand is the part that makes it stay with you.

What’s the difference between this and the Examen journal?

This is the fuller daily practice — reading, reflection, prayer requests, the whole quiet time. The Examen is the simple one: one prayer, five steps, ten minutes at the end of the day.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. The type was sized for a phone screen deliberately. Tablet is more comfortable, but a phone works.

Still wondering something? Ask me directly — a real person reads every note.

Free first

Not ready to buy? Take something anyway.

Both of these are free, and they stay free. It is the easiest way to find out whether the way I put things together actually helps you.

The 5-Day Family Organization Challenge

One small step each morning for five days — your landing spot, one calendar for the whole family, the week’s meals decided once, a fifteen-minute reset, and room made for prayer. Every step has a five-minute version for the days that get away from you.

How to Write a Catholic Prayer

A short guide built on the five forms of prayer the Catechism names — blessing, petition, intercession, thanksgiving and praise — for the times you want to pray and don’t know where to start. Yours to keep, print, or hand to someone else.
