One page. Four Sundays. Nothing to buy.
Advent is four Sundays long, and it is easy to miss the whole thing while getting ready for the day at the end of it. The Advent Companion is the shape of the season on one sheet, so you can see where you are.
Advent begins Sunday, November 29. Free to print and share whole.

What's on the page
Four weeks, one small thing each
- 1Hope, November 29. Advent does not begin with joy. It begins with wanting. Write down one thing you are waiting on, and leave it on the page.
- 2Peace, December 6. Peace is a decision about what you will not do this year. Name one thing from last December you are letting go.
- 3Joy, December 13. The rose candle, for when you are tired and need to look up. Do one small thing purely because it is lovely.
- 4Love, December 20. Five days out. Give one person fifteen unhurried minutes before Christmas Eve.
Plus the four dates inside the season: the Immaculate Conception (Tuesday, December 8), Our Lady of Guadalupe (Saturday, December 12), Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
“Advent does not begin with joy. It begins with wanting.”From the first Sunday

Is it a devotional?
No. It is not a devotional and not a to-do list. It is one page that shows the shape of the season, with one small thing to do each week.

It follows the Catholic calendar, with Gaudete Sunday and two Marian feast days, but anyone keeping Advent can use it.
Can I share it?
Please do. It is free to print and share whole. Just don't resell or repackage it.
How often will you email?
Three short notes over the next week, then the occasional note through Advent. Unsubscribe anytime.
