Who it’s for: Busy families who want simple, not spreadsheets — and who’d like giving in the plan, not left over at the end.

Real talk: it’s the 20th of the month and you’re not totally sure where the money went. Been there.

This is a budget that lives on your phone and does the math for you. Type in the white boxes; the totals, the charts and the progress bars fill themselves in.

Debt, savings, and your giving all in one calm place. No apps to install. No learning curve. If you can type in a box and tap a little arrow, you can run this.

What’s inside

Everything you get

  • A dashboard that shows the whole month at a glance — where it went, what’s left
  • 12 monthly tabs, already set up and linked to the dashboard
  • Savings goals with visual progress
  • A debt payoff tracker — watch the number come down
  • Sinking funds for Christmas, tuition, car repairs and the things that always surprise you
  • A net worth page, updated once a month in about two minutes
  • A tithe and giving line built in first, not last
  • Works on a phone — the layout was built for a small screen on purpose

Format: Google Sheets and Excel (.xlsx). No macros, nothing to install. A README and setup notes are included.

Questions

Before you buy

Do I need to know spreadsheets?

No. You type in the white boxes. Everything shaded does its own math and you never touch it.

Google Sheets or Excel?

Both are included in the same download. Sheets is the phone-friendly one; Excel is nicer on a laptop. Plenty of people use both.

Does it include giving?

It does, as its own line near the top — because for a lot of us that’s the first line, not the leftover one.

Still wondering something? Ask me directly — a real person reads every note.

Free first

Not ready to buy? Take something anyway.

Both of these are free, and they stay free. It is the easiest way to find out whether the way I put things together actually helps you.
